I'm a big fan of vintage brooch, they are like little stories all on their own.  This flower bouquet is one of my favorite in my collection!

9 to 5

As much as I love dressing in vintage on my day off and have fun with my collection of vintage dresses shoes and accessories, I actually love dressing in my work attire even more.  On my work days, non of my beloved vintage stuff venture out of my closet except perhaps a bakelite bangle or a tiny brooch, but honestly, on days that I have important business meetings with clients, my attire is strictly business!

I love the idea that, with the help of a phone, a business card and a decent suit, a girl can have the power to kick start a career, support herself and get a whole new outlook on life.

Recently I've been really into exploring corky new places on my own, I hop in my car and just let imagination takes me to wherever.  It's such a luxury to be able to have the free time to enjoy life... not mentioning then having the time to blog about it!  Honestly the whole of last year I had very little of such time and whenever I do get to do something fun I whole heartedly love it!  And is that the most rad dressing room door ever or what?  Look closely, they are made of vintage refrigerator doors!

After my mini exploration, a bowl of hot pho noodle soup and then a little piece of chocolate!  It takes less than 20 bucks to keep me happy!

Cute puppies, pretty shoes and a full belly, a girl can't asking for more!

I love these vintage style short boots, they kind of look like victorian boots but they have little buttons instead of lace.  What's that saying about giving the girl the right shoes and she can rule the world?  I think there might be some truth to it!

I believe I have just discovered the greatest Miss Marple ever, played by Margaret Rutherford!  She is the Miss Marple that I have always imagined, sharp as a whip with a touch of mischievousness.  The movie is so well put together and full of humorous moments, definitely check it out if you are in the mood for a great stay at home movie night!

Guess where I was last night?  At Clifton's in downtown LA!  It was an amazing party, so many people dressed in fabulous vintage style, I had never seen a better dressed crowd! Almost every girl had a smashing vintage dress on, and right in the middle of it Dita walked by my table in a stunning emerald green dress, my jaw dropped!  She performed her famous martini glass act at mid night to a super packed crowd, it was the first time I had seen her show, and it was so much fun!  I think the night will go down memory lane as the most fabulous NYE party ever!

New Year Preparation

I always like to do a bit of preparation at the end of each year to welcome the new year, although this year things were very challenging, I...
