More kitchen ideas. I think I'm partial to white when it comes to wall colors and cabinets, and leave the colors to the other objects like chairs and lamp shades. This kitchen is really close to what I like, I want the exact tiles and love that deliciously white viking stove. My new place has a beautiful vintage stove, I loved it at first, but those older models has a terribly small oven, I will never fit a turkey in there, or a roast, it's a big bummer for someone who loves to cook! Kitchen is probably the area in a house that I'm most interested in, I want one that's beautiful, functional, a place that I can smash the pots and pans and not afraid of breaking anything, and most importantly, it has to be easy to clean.
My fiance and I both wanted a small library, I think build-in book shelves are a great idea, it's probably the best way to fit in most books and make the most out of your wall spaces too.
See what I mean about colorful fabrics and furniture and white background? I think it will be great!

And finally, how about a pink and lace themed attic??

My fiance and I are moving in together soon. I'm going to say goodbye to my old familiar neighborhood and learn to get around in the new one. At some point I'm going to have to think about what to bring with me and what to get rid of at home but in the mean while, I'm savoring these last moments as much as I can. I wonder what Kelly and Bobby will think of the move?

It was recital time again, this time around I played several pieces at the end, including the entire Bach Toccata in d minor, one movement of Beethoven Sonata and Chopin Ballad No.4, honestly, I was exhausted afterward, I have no clue how I will play two more movements of the Beethoven sonata and the entire Gaspard de la nuit at my own recital, by memory. Err.
The kids all played beautifully. I watch them grow right in front of my eyes, and I know this sounds cliche, but it feels amazing to know that someone plays the piano beautifully in part because of me.
My fiancé and I had some great pizza and wine after the concert, I was hugely relieved of all the pressure, he's still got a big deal at work tomorrow, life goes on, but what sweet moments we are living in!
now, everybody is sleeping... have a good night!

I love this house featured on Design Sponge, it looks so comfortable and inviting, and it's also got that warm, soft light coming in through the windows, cozy!
