A fun day spent exploring Huntington Beach, there is a lot out there that I really have no clue even though I've lived in OC for the past six years.  There are some really beautiful places and secret hide outs and sometimes you just need a good friend to show you around.

It was a trip back in time.

I had been having a vegan diet for several days, but gave up last night for some mac and cheese with bacon on top.

I got up early this morning to do some work in the backyard. Taking care of plants and flowers is like therapy for the soul, I really enjoy doing it! Us family of four also took a hike today. We saw all kinds of animals, bunnies, horses, lizards, Kelly and Bobby were thrilled.

Both me and my fiance have been super busy lately, but tonight he gave up a few hours of his work time, which he will be making up for by working extra on Sunday to see me and take me out for dinner. It helped me to release a mountain of stress which have been escalating to ridiculous heights lately. When I think about this loving and caring man is the person that I'm about to marry, I have nothing to say but that I am pretty damn lucky!

We are hooked on Indian food, but then again, trust me, it's pretty hard to top off spicy food on a cold night.

In some places, people are still hanging onto their Christmas ornaments, I'm that person who keeps her Christmas tree til March if I happen to have one, so I understand:)

And meet Amber, a cute little dog we met while walking around a small shopping plaza. She rolls around on the carpet from store to store, and people gave her treats.

A beautiful day today. I had such a chaotic morning but all was made up with a nice breakfast.

Thursday

I sat in a coffee shop to read this afternoon in Venice. Since this was a random idea I decided to explore the neighborhood after coffee, and when I smelt the ocean air I realized that I was just pretty much a few minutes from the beach.

It was a serene moment, I sat on the bench and did a little people watching.

I found so many interesting places today just looking around by myself, it was so exciting to walk without searching online first to see what's out there, because you can be surprised by what shows up next. I found a eccentric jewelry shop that I will be revisiting again, a Jewish center that seemed so peaceful but was right next to a neighbor shop that blew heavy metal music, and lots of arts and crafts!

too much good food, coffee, wondering around town and sitting on the beach is good for you. Plus, today I bought a little vintage bag at the flea market for $25 bucks. I could have bargained for even less but for such a cute little bag I got nice and paid the asked price.
