We had a fantastic Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and a little bit of planning really paid off.  I sent my puppies for a hair cut last week so they look like fuzzy teddy bears for Christmas and invited a few good friends over and we cooked a few dishes together while drinking champagne.  My friend helped me took a lot of pictures with my pups but it was a bit like herding cats and the most I could do was three of them in one frame but I think they came out really good. 

My good friend Nina is the one that really knew what to do with all the ingredients and helped me whipped up the dishes in no time.  We had more people joining us later in the evening and a group of neighbors dropped by for tea and dessert and watched Christmas in Connecticut with us.  My favorite part is gathering around the dinner table sharing food and funny stories and just happy to be surrounded by my favorite people.  Life is all about creating memories and with a bit of effort I think we did well this year!
